Staff not prepared to refund credit card transactions. We had to wait over 45min and staff kept saying that the hotel couldn't refund the amount, when in reality he didn't know how to do it. We almost missed the flight.

An excellent hotel with very good staff even if english is widely spoken in the country.It has what someone need for a comfortable stay at this beautiful country and city.

They do not have 24 hour service

Thiago was wonderful this time and last time. Staff was very friendly and helpful and most of the time at least one English speaker can be found.

THis time i was really unhappy about how noisy my room was. I am not kidding, the elevator "pinged" every 4 seconds all day all night. I thought i was going to lose my mind. And I didn't get a double bed.Also, although the breakfast buffet is nice enough, i stayed there five days and not once was there a a new or different item....gets a bit dull.

The hotel is well situated near the rodoviaria and not so far of the airport. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is good and copious. This hotel is a good choice to stay some days in town.

It was about the room space. It surprises me positively. In addition, the breakfast is great.

It was in a relaively safe neighborhood

It was a bit too far from the city centre and traffic was heavy in the street in front of the hotel, so getting anywhere by taxi was difficult. I was also asked to pay an additional 15% on the price of the room I booked as I was informed that taxes were not included in the rate I booked. I have no idea if this is true or not.

They apply the daily rate instead of the one you book in the site. Paid internet is not acceptable.

The breakfast is excellent! And the location is very good. There are a lot of pubs near the hotel.

The hotel is located in the nice district of Savassi. Close to the hotel you will find shoppoing, restaurants and neightlife. For Brasil the hotel offers a reasonable standard, but still below other standards in South America, Europe of especially Asia.

At check-out a was charged a one day rate (BRL 250) even I did already check-out at 11 p.m. and the receiption staff the day before told me that they would not charge me for the late check-out - supposingly, because I am a frequent traveller to Belo. So if you get something promised - aks for a written confirmation, as there seems to be no reliable statements from the hotel staff. So, I will never choose this hotel again, because how can I be sure about confirmations in the future?

The Royal Golden Hotel has good an confortable rooms. Although the street is very busy, the rooms are quiet. The staff is very nice and honest. I lost some 100 euros in the room and the cleaning leady left on the bed! Indeed, something remarkable! The location is very convenient, as Savassi has several restaurants, a small shopping mall and it is quite safe. I would stay again in the same hotel, if needed.

A vedação das janelas e ruim e atuando venta forte faz um barulho que incomda muito, na verdade toda acústica compromete o restante, se ouve tudo noscorredores e nos aptos vizinhos, mas o pior e o assobio do vento na madrugada.

Sim, na reserva que fiz no site, foi me passado que " Plano de refeições: Buffet de pequeno-almoço (br: Café-da-manhã) incluído na tarifa da acomodação." E foi cobrado ... me cobraram r$ 64,00 pelo Café da manha das duas Diárias.
